Our philosophy of “obedience, freedom, and play” is at the heart of everything we do. The goal is to have obedience for when we need it, while still giving your dog the freedom to be a dog. We teach these concepts through the use of play and other motivational methods. Play is guaranteed to improve any relationship. It’s extremely beneficial to strengthening the bond between you & your four-legged companion. We encourage all out clients to get outside and enjoy what the Treasure Coast has to offer!

Meet Desi - Owner and Head Trainer
Des has always had a love for dogs especially as a child. His appreciation for dogs led him on this incredible journey into dog training. He first started working with dogs early on in adulthood. And, since entering the dog industry, he has worked large doggy daycare/boarding facilities, grooming salons, animal shelters, and has spent many years training with high level competition trainers around the world. Over the last 10 years he has grown to become a very accomplished dog trainer and teacher to other dog trainers..
Des has also been working as a protection sport decoy since 2011 and also currently certified as a Level 2 Decoy under the North American Ring Association. He is also a competitive dog training handler in N.A.R.A. and has been competing nationally since 2013. Working with some of the best trainers in the world, Des has learned how to accelerate the learning process in dogs, how to ensure reliability of commands, and most importantly, how to maintain the overall working spirit of the dog making them happy to perform the job. He continues to work hard, grow, and develop his skills as a trainer, decoy, & dog industry professional. Through Treasure Coast Dog Training, Des has brought a new understanding of dog training to South Florida.
